Star Block Jointing Mortar
STAR Block Jointing Mortar is a superior, water-resistant, cement-based mortar specially formulated for joining STAR AAC and more. It contains graded dry sand, STAR Cement, and imported modified polymers, making it self-curing and stronger. It is also more resistant to adverse climatic conditions compared to traditional jointing mortars.
STAR Block Jointing Mortar is manufactured in a 100% automated plant, the largest in the Northeast with zero manual intervention.

Applications
Surface Preparation - Wet the blocks and ensure they are touch-dry before thin bed masonry mortar is applied
Mortar Mixing - Take 1 part water in a clean bucket and add 4 parts of 'Star Block Jointing Mortar' to it
Mixing by Mixer or Tools - Prepare a homogeneous mixture & achieve lump-free consistency
Reaction Time - Allow the mixture to rest for 5 mins to achieve polymer reactions
Mortar Spread - Spread the mortar on the block laying surface using a notch trowel maintaining a uniform thickness of 3-5 mm
Levelling - Place the STAR AAC and level it using a rubber mallet
Setting Time - Depending on the climate, allow a minimum stand-alone time of 24 hours for the wall, after application of the mortar
